Greek Organizations:
Here at Colorado State University, Historically Black Greek letter Fraternities and Sororities promote brother and sisterhood as well as social and cultural interaction through an array of programs and community service projects.
The organizations below are presently represented on the CSU campus.
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)The National Pan-Hellenic Council is currently composed of nine International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Phi Psi Fraternity, Inc. NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions. |

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (Xi Eta Chapter)Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 15, 1908 on the campus of Howard University. The Xi Eta Chapter was chareted on May 1, 1982. The purpose of this dynamic sisterhood is to cultivate & encourage high scholastic & ethical standards, to study & help alleviate social problems concerning girls & women, to maintain a progressive interest in college life, to promote unity & friendship amongst girls and women and to be of service to all mankind. |

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. (Tau Lambda Chapter)Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 13, 1913 on the campus of Howard University by twenty-two dynamic women on the principles of sisterhood, scholarship, and service. The Tau Lambda Chapter was chartered on April 26, 2003 for both the CSU and UNC Greeley. |

Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Omicron Zeta Chapter)Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on January 5, 1911 at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Indiana under the basis of "Honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor." There are two undergraduate chapters active in Colorado: Omicron Zeta and Beta Theta. Beta Theta covers CSU, UNC Greeley & CU Boulder. Omicron Zeta covers Denver Metro, DU & CU Denver. |

Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. (Nu Xi Chapter) - INACTIVEPhi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 9, 1914 under the motto of "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity." The Nu Xi chapter was the first Black Greek organization chartered 1982 on CSU's campus. Phi Beta Sigma is the only fraternity constitutionally bound to a sister sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. |
