Student Organizations:

There are several student organizations here at Colorado State University available to African American students which offer volunteer, leadership, academic, social support and networking opportunities.


Africans United (AU)

for all Africans and those who are interested in knowing more about the great continent of Africa.

Black Definition

Student organization that plans and implements Black History programs throughout the year with a strong emphasis during the month of February.

 

Black Graduate Student and Professional Association (BGSPA)

serves as a networking organization for students enrolled in graduate programs; to provide a support system for them while pursuing their graduate studies.

 

Black Student Alliance (BSA)

Student coalition that sponsors cultural activities and advocates the social and political interests of African-American students on campus.

EQ Ministries

Student group focused on reaching students of color for Christ. Our purpose is to develop a community of students who are committed to growing in Christ, sharing Him with others, and serving Him in the world. We strive to equip students and develop them into Godly leaders who will reach their full potential in Christ.

Ethiopian Student Association

Student group raising money for the purpose of community as well as educate students about Ethiopia's history, tradition and culture.

 

Impact Bible Study

An African-American cultural expression of the Kingdom of Christ.

 

Multi-racial Individuals Representing All Classifications Equally (MI RACE )

student organization whose goal is to explore, define and communicate what it is like to be a multiracial/ethnic person.

 

National Society of Black Engineers and Scientists (NSBE)

A National student-run Organization that promotes academic achievement and develops career paths in the fields of engineering and natural sciences.

United Men of Color (UMC)

The mission of United Men of Color is to make a positive change on campus and in the community through service, leadership development, building community amongst students and faculty but most importantly, culturally inclusive programming.

United Women of Color (UWC)

Created to discuss issues and promote an awareness of topics that pertain to women of color.

 

Voices of Unity Gospel Choir

Student choir and musicians who perform concerts and participate in other activities throughout the Fort Collins community.
